It's a little complicated, but you could say they're friends.

It always is. Though if they were people you feared, this isn't a terrible place to meet them, surrounded by powerful allies and even more powerful enemies. If ever there was a time to make peace with an old enemy, this would be it.

They're people who helped me, Arikado works for the church, and the Belmonts are a clan of vampire hunters.
