Log - Stop the scouting party!

Who: Lancer, Archer (Fate/Prototype), Cross Blanchard, Terry Bogard
What: A Fae scouting party has been discovered. Orders were given to eliminate it before it could return to friendly territory.
Where: Outside Midgard
When: June 7
Warnings: Fighting.
Turn Order: Terry -> Lancer -> Archer -> Cross -> GM

It had been one day since the sentry reported seeing Fae in the area. They had purportedly withdrawn into a small, wooded area half a mile from the city walls. Suspecting that that was where their encampment was, the order was given to take them out.

Thus, four champions would find themselves leaving the city and heading toward the woods.

Lancer is too caught up in the fighting to reply. Like Terry, he heads toward the direction of the voices, keeping an eye out for potential traps.

[prototype_king]

Gilgamesh makes a dismissive sound, shaking the blood off his swords, then listens closely to the voices.

Hoping to cut down any escape, he jumps up onto a sturdy-looking branch on one of the nearest trees. Listening and looking for movement, he prepares to rain down a barrage of swords at machine-gun pace as soon as he sees or hears anything wyrd trying to flee.

Cross follows behind the others towards the voices. He draws out more knives to use to try and disable movement from the enemies.

They don't take long to spot. There's two masked, lightly-armored soldiers in the middle of a small clearing, trying to pack up their belongings and escape. They don't seem to have noticed that they've been spotted, however.

Terry looks at the others, then nods. He raises his hand. One... two... three!

He pounds the ground with his fist. "Power Wave!" That oughta trip them up a bit.
