[...Well, chaotic introductions aside, Shirou had been spending his time wandering around and getting a grip to this place as he just tried to get a fact through his head: That he's not home anymore and that he's actually fighting for the sake of his own world. But... to Shirou, what's even more worrying was the presence of certain individuals here. Ilyasviel von Einzbern and Kiritsugu Emiya. The former he knew was never a combatant of any sorts, and he quickly found out that this one is from another world where she's... a magical girl.

That one's still hard to swallow.

Kiritsugu Emiya, though. Is a different thing entirely. The man's his father, and he looked pretty much ready to keel over from whatever was ailing him before his death. Not only that, it appeared that he... had given up on living? Whatever that was, he knows that right now, there are two people that he needs to make sure of their safety.

In any case, Shirou is now just wandering around, a thoughtful face in place rather than his usual gentle one.]

[Saber's been tailing him for the last three blocks, cursing herself for her inability to just approach him and say something. It'd been like this during the War after they.... well.... transferred mana. She'd found herself having trouble looking at him without her thoughts wandering but had soldiered through it only to find simply touching him made her feel jittery and for her heart to pound and for flashes of how close he had been to cross her mind and--

She forced those indecent thoughts down. No. Her goal here is to talk to him. Not to reminisce about the past. Hadn't she gotten past that?

Finally, Saber sped up her gait and easily caught up to him. She forced herself not to think too hard as she spoke up and hoped she wouldn't startle him too much:]

Shirou? Do you live in this district as well?

[Well, at least she's not trying to kill him, so it should be alright to stop and talk to her.]

Shirou Emiya spent the last month trying to remember her the best that he can, so that he won't forget those weeks he spent with her as both a Master and a- (even if he can't admit it yet)- lover. So that he'll have a goal to finally reach when the end of his life approaches.

That is why that Shirou Emiya steeled himself to not look so surprised, and turned to face her with a smile, while he's trying hard to not choke out a sob.

[Alive? Healthy? He doesn't know her current state but he is still glad that he's able to see her again.]

[Is he.... crying? Over her? Shirou, she never wanted that. Don't do that. Saber steps toward him, reaching up to pull his hand from his eyes. Somehow, the way her stomach flips doesn't make her stutter as she explains:]

The Valkyries found me on Camlann Hill, not a minute after I left you. Lord Hephaestus apparently has machines in his workshop that can heal a person even from the brink of death. So here I am.
