The skies had cleared of their dark cloud cover enough to make these dragons more visible, and Hastur pauses, looking up at them.

Finally, a real challenge. Here's a chance to flex his eldritch muscles, so to speak.

He vanishes like a candle being snuffed and reappears in a swirl of yellow light atop the highest point he can find. Once there, the yellow glow intensifies until he's painful to look at, fighter-craft veering away from him as though repelled by a magnet.

He lifts a hand. Spreads fingers of wicking, trailing light. Slowly curls the hand into a fist.

A dragon sparks with identical yellow light that grows in intensity until the entire thing emits it. The light goes sickly and boils and then pulls in on itself, taking the dragon with it, and light and dragon vanish into an impossibly tiny point of inverted reality.

It takes time and is clearly draining, but one can't argue its effectiveness....
