We don't know much of them, but what we do know ... well, they're hostile towards humans for starters. They appear to come from the dimension outside of the physical plane - called Imaginary Space. In their translucent form, they are composed of water and sodium hydroxide...and if they come into contact with a human, there is a high chance of them becoming a Gnosis themselves - or their body turning to salt, and shattering.
