[ There's a Shion in the Docks district puttering about. Putter putter! Putter. ]

You'll have to forgive me if this question has been asked already - but with the exception of those already from my world, how many here have experience in engineering and maintenance of mobile suits, or mecha.

I've offered to help someone with the proper maintenance of theirs, but I'll need a team of two other people to support me with the system.

[ Smiling KOS-MOS is always a delight - even though it's strange to see, and she still has millions of questions, she isn't going to ask them all right now. She'll wait outside the hangar though - surely you won't keep her waiting long will you KOS-MOS? ]

[Of course she won't! She'll even be riding up on her Monocycle less than ten minutes later. It doesn't occur to her that Shion might not be aware that she even had the bike]

[ What's that noise? Shion ... is rather surprised (understatement) to see the monocycle. When the android drew up close to the hangar, Shion started over to her. ]

[When KOS-MOS steps off it, she lets her hand hover over it so it would shift back into a more recognizable shape: her maintenance bed. And then she uses her Transfer System to return it to the Palace District.]

It is part of the Dinah Mobile Interface.

[ Transfer System, BEST SYSTEM. But while they talk, they can walk, so she turns to head into the hangar, thinking. ]

The same Dinah - the E.S?

Yes, it connects to my E.S. and allows for a third person to enter Dinah.

[The very best! Especially with the ridiculous amount of weapons that were built for her.

She'll walk alongside Shion into the hanger though.]

Dinah is the only E.S. capable of entering hyper space without interacting with the U.M.N. Column. The Mobile Interface is also capable of the same.

I see. ... I have to be honest KOS-MOS, it is a bit... unnerving to be so far behind the rest of you, chronologically. I feel like I have to play catch up with everyone else.

[ Because she wouldn't confess this to any of her friends, she easily could do so for KOS-MOS. How many long nights had she worked late, monitoring KOS-MOS sleeping in the maintenance bed, talking to the android even though it was likely she hadn't even heard? ]

Really, even if I was sick, I wish the Valkyrie had brought me over at the same time as the rest of you.

To be honest, not a lot. Most of it just confirmed what you've already told me. It's been a year for Jr, already. Allen said that he was from a bit after you - the last thing he remembered was leaving to search for Lost Jerusalem with the rest of us. He... mentioned something about finding out what was really going on, but he didn't go into detail about what he meant.

I am uncertain of the exact time that has passed between Allen and I, but I believe it to be between a matter of hours or days.
