I've offered to help someone with the proper maintenance of theirs, but I'll need a team of two other people to support me with the system.

I don't know how you can stand that musty smell in this libraries. It always makes me sneeze. I'd think they were ready to fall apart though, they're so old.

You'd be surprised how long a paper book can survive if you take good care of it. And the smell isn't any worse than gunpowder...or machine oil.
