Second Rule

[Backdated a fair bit to just after this.]

[It had been a fun evening. The woman - definitely a woman, and not a girl - was a warrior of some at least noticeable capability. She was pleasant company, even in more casual clothes, the Palace district had good food, and even if she was clearly not used to spending a lot of personal time with a man, Gilgamesh was more than willing to overlook any awkwardness. It was kind of cute.]

[The problem arose much later in the evening, when they'd returned to the Palace Villa for a drink that Gilgamesh could have technically summoned from anywhere. At the end of the ensuing conversation...well, Gilgamesh got some news he's reacting badly too, going to the next room and getting out his book to yell at as many people as possible.]

[Video, and Action in Gilgamesh's apartment]

ON THE BASTARD SPIRIT OF GAIA, I SWEAR THIS NOW: NEVER ON MY EARTH IS TECHNOLOGY LIKE THIS EVER ALLOWED! It's too high a price to ask!

[He's going to be angry about this for at least a solid minute or two.]

There're better things to key it off.

It's too easy to lose and hard to get back. And I suppose there's the thing about some people enjoying sex. [Her tone suggests a casual disinterest in that subject.]

That's right. Terror's more my thing. I suppose I did include sex in some of my dreams, but the Dreamers didn't really enjoy those dreams. Except for the ones the more sexual Dreams helped me with. It was pretty funny seeing their mixed reactions to that.

You have goddess troubles?
phobophage: (surprise)

I've never noticed any differences between the amount of trouble created by men and women.

I do tend to take on female forms more often than male ones, but it's not like I haven't used both.

It's all metaphors to me. Female, male, neither, both, human, animal, and so on.

I don't know what you're thinking, but if I appear to you as one form, I'm saying something different than if I appear in another form. That's what I meant by metaphor. Forms send messages.
