It's terrifying to admit to this, since people may think poorly of her afterwards, but she has to. She can't risk being separated from her body. ]

Nothing of mine was taken, though I approve no less of those "hijinks". Despite my luck, I cannot count on it to continue. So I am taking precautions.

As long as I am within 100 meters of my body then I can control it, much like a remote for a toy car. If separated then I lose my ability to control this body and it will resume being a soul-less husk.

With my soul separated from this fragile body, I am able to fight and repair my body without my pain to slow me down. As long as my soul gem is in tact, I will not die.

That's correct. My weakness has been revealed. But if I am separated from my body and say nothing of it, I will likely never get back. At least this way, there is more hope for being returned safely.
