There we go, it should be ... right. Good morning, my name is Shion Uzuki. I was Chief of the Vector's R&D Division back home, but that's not important right now. More importantly is that the Valkyrie brought me - all of us - here for a reason. I may not look like much, but I am fully capable of fighting alongside everyone else here, and I intend to pull my own weight, both in battle and out. If anyone needs to reach me for any reason, I've been assigned housing in the Dock's district, or you can contact me over this network.

I don't know, being in R&D sounds important to me. You could probably put those skills to use here, too. Just fighting isn't going to do much.

Well, you are right, there. Sorry, I meant to clarify - Vector isn't a presence here, and that's the part that isn't important. In a place like this, engineers and healers are going to be needed just as much as fighters.

Wilhelm turns on his own camera, positioned just enough to include both him and the Compass in its view; otherwise, the room he's in appears very unremarkable, except for the soft music playing. ]

[ Wilhelm tilts his head. Shion is being almost... friendly towards him. It's true, then; this place can interfere with time itself. ]

No sir, it's just been me. [ She wished the Valkyrie had come to her before she handed KOS-MOS over to the 2nd R&D Division on Miltia. Surely the android would have accompanied her then. Sigh. ]

I have never heard of Realians. Would you explain, please?

All right. Realians are, essentially, artificial humans created for a variety of purposes. Observation, and combat are the most common, however there are civilian models as well, manufactured to operate as secretaries or personal assistants. They're a result of bioengineering, and have their own personalities and emotions - although there does tend to be a bias about Realians for some.

Hello, Lucca. Yes I did - the majority of my work was in engineering and nanotechnology, but I've worked with artificial intelligence such as androids and Realians as well.

Oh wow, humanoid robotics are a specialty of mine too! More the nuts n' bolts, design, support relay, balance and haptic design and stuff, but I've been looking into the more complex AI pans too.

It's short for Research and Development. My team was responsible for creating and developing an android by the name KOS-MOS. I also assisted with the development of the artificial personality installed in other Realians.
