More importantly is that the Valkyrie brought me - all of us - here for a reason. I was on the Elsa, with KOS-MOS - we, along with Allen and our friends, were heading to Miltia. After the incident on the Woglinde, we were informed that our orders were to hand KOS-MOS over to the second R&D Division.

[ She .. has to struggle not to scowl at that. ]

[ That was a while ago. At least, to them. To Wilhelm, it might as well have been yesterday. ]

KOS-MOS would be in good hands. From what I understand, she was very helpful with the Kukai Foundation, even before I arrived with the Rhine Maiden.

Yes, sir, I'm sure she would. [ But it's still like sending your daughter off to college. Kinda. ]

Yes sir, she was. She's surpassed my every expectation of her performance [ And she still surprised Shion with some of those additional abilities. ]. I'm very grateful for your timing - we might have been in a difficult situation (more of one) even with her help if you hadn't come when you did.

Beyond that, it was the perfect opportunity to test the Rhine Maiden. It worked beyond my expectations.

The Rhine Maiden was quite impressive to see in action. I hadn't thought it was operational - I'm glad that I was wrong.

Miyuki was even more impressed than I, actually.

I had it finished ahead of schedule, for this very reason. The Song of Nephilim was always something I'd have liked to study more in-depth, though the Gnosis are naturally attracted to it.

[ Well... not to the Song of Nephilim itself, but to U-DO's presence, whose attention is caught by the Song's activation. But, details. ]

It is a shame it merged with Proto Merkabah.

[ Wilhelm planned to use the Song in case Zarathustra failed. It wasn't his Plan B; more like, Plan C or D. ]
