[For those of you tuning in, the screen on your PDAs will turn on to reveal a young man in what looks like the machine hangar. Behind him is a large, white robot holding a rifle and a shield. Those of you in the hangar can spot this, too.]

Um, hey. I haven't introduced myself to most of you guys, have I? I'm Captain Asem Asuno of the EFF Special Forces. The machine behind me is my personal mobile suit, the Gundam AGE-2. I've got plenty of experience and skill on the battlefield, so don't hesitate to count on me out there.

...Anyway, now that that's out of the way, I've got two questions. First: how many of you out there could perform maintenance and resupply on mobile suits? We could use a team of mechanics since not all of us have the know-how to maintain our mobile suits besides basic repairs and adjustments. I'm also looking for someone to operate a computer for mine.

The second thing I want to know is how we can train. Do we have simulation programs or devices we could use? If we don't, could someone make some? I know a guy back home who made one from an old mobile suit cockpit and some spare parts, so it can be done.

We can look around here while there's not a fight going on, I guess. If not, there's a virtual reality game at home that converts into a simulator pretty easily. I'm sure I could find a machine no one's using anymore...

Turning a game into a simulator? That can be done? What, does it have a unique control setup or something?

It was actually designed to assess potential PT pilots...the controls are one of the things that need modifying, though.

Your whole control system changes? Is it a dynamic cockpit layout, or do you just get a lot of upgrades?

Well, not the whole thing. But the handles change depending on which wear parts I'm using.

Oh, it has variable parts! The Huckebein Mark III back home works like that. It's more of Ryoto's project, but I'm familiar with the idea.

Basically. Right now it's just got two configurations. I bet my time here produces more, though.

Did you get permission to use a manufacturing plant here, or...?

No, it's part of the system that my mobile suit is part of. There's a machine with it that produces new parts based on combat data.

A physical upgrade system that responds directly to combat data? That sounds...amazing, actually. How does it work?

There's a device I have that gathers data when hooked up to my Gundam. Then it analyzes the data, designs weapons made to counter problems or boost strengths, then sends it to a machine that builds it.

A whole integrated research, development, and manufacturing system...that's amazingly streamlined.

It was something my grandmother designed. My father perfected it, and became the first to use it. The mobile suit I use now was designed by the system based on my combat data in the previous mobile suit.

I'd really like to see this...if that's okay, I mean.

Yeah, sure. Not much point in keeping it a secret here.

As far as maintenance and operations of your mobile suits, I can help with that once I'm familiar with the system. I'm looking into getting space at a lab here for most of the work I'm already doing. Unfortunately I don't have a lot of the equipment I had back on the Woglinde, but I bet a couple of us can put together a simulation program - if the systems here can power it strongly enough.

Is your mobile suit completely monitored via the computer system? [ If so - she did have the datapad which connected remotely to her own computer - it would probably be able to connect to the computer for his too. HRm. Well! ]

Oh, cool, that'd be great. Might need a team, though.

When it's active. It's one part in a three-part system, and it runs in full only when all three parts are online.

I'll definitely need a team in that case. My colleague Allen is here too - I'll ask him to support me with that. And then we'll just need a third.

Hm, not sure if I know a third. You might need to ask around.

It's a big, humanoid machine. It's controlled from the inside by a pilot.

I don't know about this world, but I brought mine with me from home. Piloting it's what I do best, so I do it.

And... to pilot... That is something akin to a carriage driver, correct?

I worry this place may be more frightening than what I was going through back home.

They said there was a war going on, so I brought everything I could. You have to be prepared during war.

I didn't think to come prepared like that... But nobody would follow me at this point. I only have... what I can do.
