[Having figured out that her Child had come with her, Lena was standing atop her building as she pointed a hand skyward. Lets hope this would work.]

ARTEMIS!

FORCE CONNECT ACTIVATED. CONNECTED, L.S. MATERIALIZE.

[A pillar of light shot downwards from the sky and struck her, as huge golden wings appeared. A robe flickered to life, the form of the Super Meister GEM seconds before it exploded off her, becoming extremely skimpy in nature as segments of it were removed in bursts of golden feathers. The wings wrapped around her for a moment, showering the area with feathers.

Once subsided, she inhaled and took to the skies.]

Seems like the force connect still works. For how long though...

[With that in mind, she darted into the sky, flying overhead and looking for anyone to talk to.]

[Don't worry, that boot is actually regenerating right before their eyes. Lena laughed as she held up the boot in her hand that had come off seconds before her whole battle uniform restored itself.]

I should have expected this. Artemis regenerates my uniform for the most part. Here, a gift I suppose for you to study. It's nanofiber and it's generated by my nanotechnology.

[ Yay boot! Shion blinked as the other boot regenerated right then and there - ]

Oh! Thank you very much! [ This would be a nice step up - no pun intended - into comparing Lena's nanotechnology with the nanotechnology she was familiar with. It was probably not that different - honestly. ]

Ah - I suppose... Oh yes, would you like something to drink? I... don't really have much right now, but this will be easiest to do when you're calm.

Water or juice would be appreciated, thank you. Do you want me to be sitting anywhere while I wait?

[Her home was nice, and she was noticing a difference between the homes in the Deeps District and here.]

[ Shion had learned to stop comparing the apartment to the ones back home - there was a flat data pad on the table near a computer that had yet to boot up, and her network book was resting next to said datapad. ]

Wherever you're most comfortable. Although there aren't too many places for that right now - why not make yourself comfortable on the couch?

[ She pads on over to the kitchen, rumming about for a container of juice. ]

[Sitting down on the couch, Lena tested its softness as she grinned and stretched out her legs for a moment. She hadn't been in Otome form for a while, and it was like a old glove.]

[ Quest: Acquire Juice! accomplished, Shion walked back to the living room to offer the drink to Lena. ]

Here you are. How are you feeling since activating your power like that?

[ While talking, she went back to her datapad, tapping a button to bring up the system on it and the computer. ]

[Accepting it, Lena took a sip.] So far pretty good. I don't feel any adverse effects for connecting forcibly to my robe. It seems like Artemis is handling the strain of it easily.

That's good to hear - as long as the system that supports your contract doesn't crash or anything, I doubt that we'll have anything to worry about. Still, better safe than sorry, right?

Could you stand up for a second, and hold your arms out parallel? I need to get a scan of your body.

That's right. All right then.

[Setting down the drink, she stood up and held out her arms for Shion to take measurements.] I can hold this for a while.

That's all right, it'll only take a second. [ She touches a button on a device at her table, and a faint green light shimmers over Lena, top to bottom. A simple enough program. ]

Turn around, please - [ And once Lena does that, she repeats the process. ]

Normally I'd do this in a laboratory, with a complete hookup, but I can make do with a simple biometric scan for now.

[Turning around, she nodded.] I understand perfectly. There's only so much you can do right now. At least this is helping somewhat.

[ Once she was done with the scan, she nodded once. ]

Okay, you can sit down now. I assume that once you're in battle there is an increase in activity in your system.

[ She studies the readings on the screen. ]

Let's see... it looks like everything is checking out normal so far.

Typically yes. All of my senses are accelerated, as well as my motor control and other major aspects of my body.

Really? That's good to know then.

Yes, that's what I suspected. I can keep a track on the status of your heart-rate and breathing, as well as any issues that might occur with the nanomachines in your body. From what I see right now though, the nanotechnology you've been using is actually very similar to what we have back home.

Oh that's good to hear. So it'll be easier to keep track of everything.

Is there any major differences beyond the usual breakdown that I should be worried about?

Precisely. As far as major differences, no, at least not right now. Would you be interested in performing a demonstration of your abilities while I monitor you, at a later time?

[ Better to hammer out any glitches or bugs in the program so that future monitoring will be smooth in case something happens. ]

Of course, that would be perfect. I can do that any time you need me to come by.

Wonderful. How about in a few days? I'll give you a call, provided nothing happens with this situation we're in. [ Meaning the war of course. ]
