ITP: A flying monkey!

[So, Goku here might not be able to read, but he does know enough to recognize his name or things like "don't touch" or "stay out" or "stupid monkey". He is also smart enough to know he doesn't know the entire context so he probably shouldn't listen to such little snippets of writing.

Hence how he found himself in one of the armories during his daily bout of exploration of Midgard. Specifically strapping on a shining metal backpack just outside of it and--hello? What does this button do?

Oh. Apparently it's a jetpack. Luckily one equipped with a force field so the monkey doesn't get himself hurt while he's flying around in the thing. Unfortunately he has no idea what he's doing so it's more like a missile is hitting the city. Seriously.

The little alley with all the street vendors selling wares? Toppled in his wake, a great wind trailing behind him.

A few of the factories in the Foundry area? Well, they now have a huge chunk taken out of them thanks to a collision with Jetpack Monkey™ who just keeps on flying!]

AAAAAAAAHHHHH! THIS IS SOOOOO COOOOOOOOOL!!!

[Fortunately for all involved, including the giddy and now slightly green Goku, the jetpack eventually runs out of steam and he goes skidding on the ground--on his back, fortunately. Somehow he manages to slip out of the straps of the thing and sits up, looking like he'll be sick with how he sways.

Then he jumps to his feet and pumps a fist in the air.]

I wanna do that again!

[Goku turns around, sees the smoking crater he left behind, then turns to Constance with a sheepish look.]

Uhhhh.... sorry?

[She taps her wrist to her hip flicking a spray of water from her glove at the smoking wreckage.] You're not hurt are you?

[Yeah she's going into protective mode, because little kids shouldn't do dangerous things]

[He's kind of jumping in place to get a better look in the distance of the damage he did.]

I'm fine! What about you?

I'm good, you're lucky I was able to deflect larger shards from hitting people, though I think I upset some of them with the water works. [she's climbing up behind him curious to see the damage as well.]

What was that contraption anyway? Never seen anything like it.

Neither have I! I just hit a button an' the next thing I know, I'm flyin'! It was so awesome goin' through the sky like that!

[It clearly reads JETPACK in bright yellow letters down the side. :|b]

Jetpack... [Yeah she's catching the letters.] You can't read can you?

[Though Constance is trying to figure out what a jet is, after all only things that fly in the air that are man made back home are fireworks and other firearms, nothing to the speeds Goku had hit.]

Whoah, that damage, you're lucky you could get up and walk around. [She's looking at the chimneys that are damaged.]

I can read my name! [And he sounds so proud of that as he follows after Constance, then looks sheepish about the damage.]

Hey, it's not like I knew I'd make a mess like that!

[Constance smiled at him.] It's alright, what is your name anyway? I'm Constance. [She jumps down the rubble carefully, managing to get back to the ground before she taps her wrist to her hip and kneels touching the ground to at least patch up some of the crash zone.]

Which is why you're lucky. You should be careful messing with things you don't understand here. [She's not trying to scold him. She's just telling him he should be more careful.]
