[There's an Erika wandering the streets with Coffret on her head. She just wanted to get out after making sure her place was perfectly livable. Perfectly meaning there was a pile of stuff and cloth and everything she needed to spend her days outside of fighting.]

Man this place is pretty cool. I should get to walking around more often.

[ Homura stares at Coffret.

Homu? She tilts her head. ]

[At this, Coffret puffed up importantly.]

I'm Erika's fairy partner, Coffret! She and I never go anywhere without one another!

[rewindingly]

[ sorry Coffret, but Homura did just wonder if she'll be chasing you around with a machine gun this time tomorrow. ]

... It's nice to meet you. I am Homura Akemi. [ She bows her head, trying not to make judgments... even if making judgments can be a lifesaver, so she tells herself to balance this open-mindedness with some degree of caution. ] I apologize. I didn't realize you already had company.

[When dealing with the evil rat thing, it was obviously a good idea to exercise caution.]

Ah it's okay, Coffret's just looking out for me while we take out walk!

[ Sounding like you want a contract there, Coffret.

Homura regards you with all of the caution. ]

It's a power! Erika's heart responded to the Heart Perfume and she and I became partners.

After that, I became a Precure, a magical girl. Been one since I was fourteen or so.

[rewindingly]

[ Heart Perfume? Is that what the kids call it these days? ]

I see... Then I suppose we are alike. I am also a variety of Magical Girl. [ The pre-witch kind.

She catches herself thinking that Erika's magical girl situation is nice. If Coffret is to be trusted, then maybe the happy magical girl lives of stories really are possible. Naturally, she scolds the naive thought. ]

[Give or take yes. Erika smiles as she hears that and nods.]

We Magical Girls gotta stick together then. It'll be more fun that way! And I can tell you about the others in my homeworld too.

[ So happy... Homura's not sure if she should feel jealousy or pity. No, maybe she should just be happy for her. ]

Mm. I would quite like that. Do you work in a team?

[Aww Homura, let big sis Erika teach you how its done!]

I do actually. A team of four; myself, Tsubomi, Itsuki and Yuri. We're known as the Heartcatch Precure.

There's two other fairies too, Chypre and Potpourri.

I see. A team of four... That sounds wonderful.

[ If only all magical girls could have teams. The thought of it reminds her that she misses Mami and Madoka. ]

I imagine it to be quite fun.

Yeah it really is. Biggest team we have in the Precures is a team of six, the Yes Pretty Cure 5 and Milky Rose.

And fairies accompany them! Coco and Nuts and Syrup are great, and Milk is on the girls team as Milky Rose!

Do you all live in the same area?

We're spread across the Tokyo area but there's some like my team who live in outlying towns and cities actually. We only get together a few times a year but when we do, something big happens.

Last time we got together, a black hole tried to devour the planet. [The least of it the pretty recent incident with the new Smile team.]

[rewindingly]

A what?

[ Now that is unexpected. ]

A black hole. Basically all the evil energy that came from purifying our enemies went somewhere, combined into space, made a black hole named, well, Black Hole, and resurrected our fallen foes to fight us.

[rewindingly]

That...

[ SOUNDS REALLY BAD. ]

Is everything well now?

Oh yeah. For a while it looked bad, since our fairy partners would be sent home. It was after the Prism Flower, the power source that connected all of our worlds together.

But then we got energized and we hit it with every attack we could think of and managed to vaporize it!
