Chain of command

I've noticed there's a bunch of people running around here with mobile suits. Since our hosts don't seem too interested in organization, I'm taking it on myself to get us all in order, because the last thing we want is a bunch of giant robots that can knock over buildings stomping around without anyone in charge.

So who all has a giant robot, and who has command experience?

[ A pause only to send a photograph of the suit in question. ]

Commander Woolf Enneacle, Earth Federation mobile suit pilot.

[ So this is the gentleman Asem had told her about. She'll regain her composure enough to give a solemn look. ]

So you are assuming responsibility for all of the pilots? Good, so when we notice insubordination, I know just who to approach.

I'm not assuming anything, yet. I'm saying we should put our skills out on the table and see who's good at once.

[aceattacker]

[ ... Oh, this is something she can get behind. ]

If someone can best you in combat, they would become our new designated leader? [ That's a challenge she's accepting so quick. ] Fine, but how can we do this? It'd be a waste to have us beat up our own machines when we're not sure if we even have the proper engineers to fix them!

What, you want to just fight it out and whoever comes out on top?

What better way to test someone's skill, right? There's no point in showing off unless you can actually show off!

Showing off isn't the point here. It's organizing an effective fighting force. If you've got a resume with command experience, lemme get a look at it.

But if you DO want to show off, though, I'm pretty sure I can run circles around a little girl any day of the week.
