What the hell

So this place is way scarier than I thought it would be. I just came here because...well, nevermind that. Point is, suddenly I'm surrounded by gods and wizards and monsters.

This magic book they gave me is kinda neat, though. I guess if I talk to it, everyone else with a book like it can hear me. Anyone else feeling like they got more than they bargained for?

Sure. Magic and demons, but they generally don't intersect too much with the lives of normal people.

Yeah, but even then it was still way more comprehensible than this.

Everything was ten times smaller back home.

No! Well, yes.

I mean just how many people there were and how much STUFF they had. Even when I imagined what some place like Kyoto was like, I didn't imagine it this big.
