Opening Log
A few days have passed since the Qin army marched on Midgard's walls. The warriors already there don't know how much longer the front gate can last. The Qin forces are slowly picking off the wall's defenders, whittling down their numbers.
A metallic dragon twists and writhes in the sky, raining destruction from above. Sanzuwu streak back and forth across the sky, strafing and intercepting any aerial units. Shishi slam into the gates repeatedly, while terracotta soldiers make use of siege engines to break down the gate.
And finally, the inevitable occurs; the gate crashes open. Qin soldiers start flooding in.
But at that very moment...the Bifrost activates.
The first wave has come.
[[OoC: Welcome to the game! You'll be starting off fending off a Qin invasion. You are free to godmode enemies within reason, though the mods may occasionally take over from time to time. Defeat enough enemies, and a boss may appear...
Enemy types can be found with descriptions in the cut below.
Dragons - Strange, otherworldly energy beings that serve the Qin. They are given physical, robotic bodies in the form of classic Chinese dragons so that they can interact with physical world. Enormously powerful. Ascend to their home plane if their bodies are destroyed. There are only nine Dragons at any one time, but if ever one is defeated, its body can be rebuilt.
Fenghuang - Flying Qin battleships. Huge. Phoenix themed decoration. Lots of heavy weapons.
Sanzuwu - Qin fightercraft. Fast, lightly armed. Three distinctive landing gear that look like bird legs.
Yaoguai - Soldiers subject to modification experiments that didn't work properly. The Yaoguai are capable in combat, but their upgrades have left them mentally unstable and very violent.
Shishi - Robot lion statues. Powerful frontline warriors.
Terracotta Soldiers - Clay statues of soldiers that have been animated. The rank and file.
And finally, Thor has something to say to you.]

"Great heroes of the worlds beyond the Bifrost! I, Thor, have summoned you here to defend our city. Unfortunately, we lack the time to properly introduce you to Midgard, as the Qin army is right at our doorstep. Thus, I shall be brief.
"You all come from different walks of life, and possess different abilities. Use them to your utmost; our enemies are powerful, and you risk death if you hold back. If we lose, then the Qin will control this city and, ultimately, the Bifrost. If that happens, then your worlds will be ripe for the picking.
"So FIGHT! Don't drop your guard, don't turn your back! This road will be difficult, but you can persevere! For the sake of this world and yours, the last free city for humanity MUST NOT FALL!"

The armies are intimidating to say the least, but it's not like Terry is any stranger to seemingly impossible odds. He's a fighter born of the streets, after all. So it's giant dragons and statues and not a bunch of gang punks. Big deal. If you want to survive, you have to act first, think later.
And act he does. "POWER WAVE!" he shouts, pounding his fist into the ground. A force of chi cuts through a row of terra cotta soldiers in front of him. Living statues. Good grief.
He twists his cap around. "Hell of a welcoming party," he mutters, dashing into the fray.

And Cross is hit with Shishi. Fun.
"Oh great! Really?! I get the giant lions first?!"
Cross is for all intensive purposes ready. Pulling out an EMP he glares at the thing. He'll need to get on it and plant it. The EMP is only big enough to take out one and only if he can attach it to it.

“Illya's nowhere to be found...”
It wasn't really a problem, she could handle any problems that came up like she had done before.. Plus Illya could handle her self in battle, so there was nothing to worry about really.

Unfortunately, he has no idea how to pilot anything. As a result, he's left swerving wildly around the battlefield, occassionally crashing into a few yaoguai or terracotta soldiers before pulling into the air again.
"G-get out of my way!"
Oh gods, where were the brakes?

In the meantime he's being attacked by fighter-craft, as though they sensed there was something otherworldly about him. Can't imagine what would be so otherworldly about a seven-foot-tall glowing man-shaped light...
Hastur makes a sweeping gesture that leaves a trail of light, creating an enormous wind that sends the fighters spinning off course.

Then he rounded the corner to see this battle and beheld madness.
"What the hell did I just get myself into!?"
As he stood, slackjawed, a Yaoguai with four arms ending in swords instead of hands charged him, screaming incoherent battlecries.

He'd complain about the circumstances later. Tuning out the rest of the people summoned, he took to a high point in the city and is busily sniping away at Shishi and Qin with his bow. Odds are, the exploding sword-arrows will cause some bits of collateral damage or at least be slightly annoying artillery.

Of course, the moment one of the shishi starts approaching him, his expression turns into one of concern, but he doesn't really flee. There's really no point now, is there? He can't go back home until the world is saved. He's been in similar circumstances before. They will not end well.

Stomping things down and wreaking havoc throughout the whole battlefield, and all the while, the speakers of the mech is broadcasting whatever the hell the pilot is saying. Which... to those of you who are still quite young, are quite... well.
"OI, OI, OI, JUST WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM!? I'M THE GREAT KAMINA, HERE TO STOP Y'ALL FROM WRECKING THIS CITY FURTHER!"

Well this one might look similar, but it moved totally differently. It landed in a huge crash in front of the shishi, kicking up a huge cloud of debris and dust. The first of the lions saw no more than a pair of glowing eyes looming out of the gloom before a green, hooked knife stabbed directly through it's forehead. It died in a shower of sparks.
The second two backed up, wary, as the robot emerged from the dust cloud with a glowing sword at the ready. There would be no more easy kills this time. Loudspeakers hidden somewhere on it shouted "C'mon little kitties! Time to play!"

It didn't take long for Yasha to realize his purpose here amongst the chaos. The people of Migard were in peril and that was more than enough reason for him to take up arms. While many of the other defenders chose to battle against the animated statues, Yasha took towards the sky instead. A fluorescent blue light raced through the sky, skillfully weaving in-between the dragons as they did their best to capture it. They snapped their mighty jaws at Yasha as he blaze past them, many of them growing increasing frustrated that they couldn't catch him. Once this game of cat and mouse finally came to an end, the dragons weren't prepared for the barrage of attacks that pelted their metallic scales. The Demigod left very little to chance as he slashed his way through the sky with just his hands and feet. It wasn't long before the first dragon fell from the sky only to be followed by a second one that exploded in midair. He dashed through the explosion with relative ease, leaving a trail of blue light in his wake.
"There's hundreds of them..." He muttered to himself in near disbelief. "At this rate, the city will have to be forfeit." A frown settled on the Demigod's face. “No, there must be another way.” Determined to not let this city fall in the hands of the enemy, Yasha raced through the sky in search for a way to halt the Qin's invasion. While attacking the dragons was a sure fire-way to halt the enemies advancement in the air, that still leaves the matter of the soldiers that ravaged the city below. Knowing that he couldn't be at two places at once, Yasha decided to leave the fighting to the other warriors that Thor recruited.

The warrior takes one look at him and swings it's sword right down at him.
In an instant, he has the sword--oh god it's bigger than he is--trapped between both hands like he'd seen Nataku do a couple times. His eyes go wide at the fact he even managed this, then he gets a huge grin on his face. Maybe this isn't so scary after all.
And then he proceeds to turn the blade to the side, effectively tipping the terracotta warrior onto its own side despite it obviously struggling against the boy's strength.
Goku turns, his eyes lit up, looking for another one and heedless of the fate of the other. That had been cool and he wants to do it again!

"Trace..."
Construction analyzed, trigger forming on the back of his head, bring it down, hammer it. Visualize it, a sword that can defeat anything on its path. Stronger than anything. If he believes it is real then it can be real.
"On."
And just like that, a sword appeared on his hand with a glow, and with that, the teenager charged at the metal lion robots with a yell.
"CALIBURN!"

A single figure leaped to the bow of the ship and stood with a polearm that was glowing white, glaring at the battlefield as if daring anyone to attack this ship before it was ready to take off again.
